HA Hemagglutinin Tag Antibody
This is a review about hemagglutinin antibodies (HA antibodies), based on 16 pusblished articles using hemagglutinin antibodies in western blot, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, and other immunological technologies. There are numerous publications using hemagglutinin antibodies. The review is aimed to facilitate ExactAntigen visitors to locate the most suited hemagglutinin antibodies. Hemagglutinin antibodies from different suppliers can be searched here.

It is common to include a small segment of the viral hemagglutinin coat protein in gene expression vectors as an epitope tag. Such a tag can be easily recognized by hemagglutinin antibodies, and the expressed protein can then be purified or characterized.

BabCO/Covance Research Products
Sinead M Miggin et al. in 2003 used BabCO mouse monoclonal anti-HA antibody (101R) in immunoprecipitation to study the palmitoylation of the human prostacyclin receptor. Sylvia N Schreiber et al.in 2003 used HA.11 antibody in western blot to investigate the expression and activity regulation of the orphan nuclear receptor estrogen-related receptor-alpha (ERR-alpha) by the transcriptional coactivator PGC-1. Estelle Nicolas et al. in 2003 used 16B12 antibody in western blot and immunoprecipitation to study the acetylation and effect of histone H3 lysine 9 methylation on the E2F-responsive dihydrofolate reductase promoter. Elena Díaz-Rodríguez et al. in 2002 used anti-hemagglutinin (HA) monoclonal antibody in immunoprecipitation and western blot to study the effect of a dominant negative form of Erk2 on PMA-induced TrkA cleavage. And Covance Research Products anti-HA antibody was used in western blot and immunoprecipitation to prove human HTm4 is a hematopoietic cell cycle regulator in 2002.

Cliniscience
Cliniscience rabbit anti-HA antibody SG77 was used in ELISA to study uncoupling and endocytosis of 5-hydroxytryptamine 4 receptors in 2005.

Roche
Yuko Fukata et al. in 2006 used Roche anti-HA antibody to immunoprecipitate cloned KSHV ORF proteins. In 2005, Martijn P Lolkema et al. used mouse clone 12CA5 in immunoprecipitation to study tumor suppression by the von Hippel-Lindau protein and Erik W Wilker et al. in 2005 used the same clone in western bolt to study the structural basis for 14-3-3 sigma functional specificity. Kyeong-Man Kim et al. in 2005 used anti-HA antibody in western blot and immunoprecipitation to study dopamine D3 receptor signaling and Karen L Wu et al. in 2004 used it in western blot and immunoprecipitation to study Akt-dependent cell survival through the regulation of ezrin/radixin/moesin proteins. Sinead M Miggin et al. in 2003 used rat monoclonal anti-hemagglutinin (HA) peroxidase-conjugated antibody (3F10) in western blot to study the palmitoylation of the human prostacyclin receptor. Jianguo Xu et al. in 2003 used clone 12CA5 in western blot and immunocytochemistry to study the heterodimerization of alpha-2A- and beta-1-adrenergic receptors. K Sauer et al.in 2001 used clone 3F10 in western blot and immunoprecipitation to study interaction of HPK1 with BLNK in B cells and with SLP-76 in T cells.

Santa Cruz Biotechnology
Estelle Nicolas et al. in 2003 used Santa-Cruz Biotechnology anti-HA antibody (Y-11) in immunoprecipitation to study the acetylation and methylation of histone H3 lysine 9 on the E2F-responsive dihydrofolate reductase promoter. Katharine Herrick-Davis et al. in 2005 used anti-HA (Y-11) antibody in immunoprecipitation to study the inhibition of serotonin 5-hydroxytryptamine2c receptor function through heterodimerization. Xuehui Yang et al.in 2004 used Santa Cruz Biotechnology anti-HA antibody in western blot to study the interaction of Sef with TAK1.
