| CatalogCode: | | NB200-412 |
| ProductName: | | Troponin T, cardiac Antibody |
| Product Description: | | Mouse Monoclonal anti-Troponin T, cardiac (1C11) |
| Clone: | | 1C11 |
| Clonality: | | Monoclonal |
| Immunogen: | | Full length purified native protein (Human). |
| Epitope: | | Residues 95-181. This part of cardiac Troponin T molecule is very conservative and has a high degree of similarity between human, rat ,and mouse. Therefore, mAb 1C11 reacts equally well with these antigens. |
| Specificity: | | This antibody is specific for cadiac troponin. Does not cross-react with skeletal muscle troponin T, cTnI and TnC. |
| CrossReactivity: | | Reacts with human, mouse, rat, and dog. Not yet tested in other species. |
| Packaging: | | 0.2 mg protein A purified Mouse ascites. |
| Uses: | | AP: Use at an assay dependent dilution. ELISA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Can be paired for ELISA with mouse monoclonal [9G6] to cardiac Troponin T. IA: Use at an assay dependent dilution. WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Predicted molecular weight: 35.4 kDa. Not tested in other applications. *Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
| Localization: | | Located on the thin filament of striated muscles. |
| Background: | | Cardiac Troponin T is the tropomyosin-binding subunit of the troponin complex, which is located on the thin filament of striated muscles and regulates muscle contraction in response to alterations in intracellular calcium ion concentration. Mutations within the protein have been associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well as with dilated cardiomyopathy. Transcripts for the gene undergo alternative splicing that results in many tissue-specific isoforms. |
| Storage: | | Store at 4C. Do not freeze. |
| Purity: | | protein A purified |
