Product Description:Mouse Monoclonal anti-Moesin (38/87)
Clone:38/87
Clonality:Monoclonal
ListPrice:325
Concentration:0.2 mg/ml
Immunogen:Moesin purified from cow uterus.
Specificity:NB120-3196 does not react with talin or ezrin. It weakly reacts with radixin. It detects most of the proteolytic fragments of moesin.
Cross Reactivity:Cross-reacts with Human, Rat and Cow. Not yet tested in other species.
Packaging:0.5 ml protein G purified Mouse ascites.
Uses:Immunofluorescence: assay dependent.Immunoprecipitation (denatured): use at a concentration of 2ug / mg.Western Blotting: use at a concentration of 1 - 2ug / ml for 2hrs at RT.Immunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded). By Western blot, this antibody detects a band of 78 kDa, which corresponds to the predicted molecular weight of Moesin.Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
Localization:Cell membrane and cytoplasmic.
Background:Moesin, a member of the talin-4.1 superfamily, is a linking protein of the submembraneous actin cytoskeleton. It is expressed in macrophages, lymphocytes, fibroblastic, endothelial, epithelial, and neuronal cell lines but not in blood cells. It is involved in cell adhesion, migration and organization of cell surface structures.
Storage:Store at 4C.  Do not freeze.
Purity:protein G purified
Isotype:IgG1 kappa
