| Background: | | This antibody recognizes keratin polypeptide of 45 kD. In normal tissues, it reacts with a large number of epithelial cell types, including ductal and glandular epithelia. This antibody does not react with squamous epithelia. Most of the adenocarcinomas, basal cell carcinomas and benign and malignant epithelial lesions stain with this antibody. |
