| Product Name: | cardiac Troponin I Antibody |
| Product Description: | Mouse Monoclonal anti-cardiac Troponin I (10B11) |
| Clone: | 10B11 |
| Clonality: | Monoclonal |
| ListPrice: | 295 |
| Immunogen: | Full length protein (Human). |
| Epitope: | 16-20 aa. |
| Specificity: | Reacts with free cardiac troponin I (cTnI) and cTnI forming complexes with other troponin components (in the presence of 5 mM EDTA). Not affected by heparin, phosphorylation, oxidation and troponin complex formation. Recognizes dephospho- and phospho- forms of human cardiac Troponin I.Does not cross-react with skeletal muscle troponin I. |
| Cross Reactivity: | Cross-reacts with Human, Rat, Cat, Dog, Pig and Rabbit.Does not cross-react with Mouse, Cow, Fish or Goat. Not yet tested in other species. |
| Packaging: | 0.2 mg |
| Uses: | immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Immunoassay Predicted molecular weight 24 kDa. Optimal dilutions and concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
| Background: | cardiac Troponin I is phosphorylated in vivo and it can also be phosphorylated in vitro by cAMP-dependent protein kinase A. Sites of phosphorylation are the serines in the 22nd and 23rd position (Jaquet K et al). NB120-10225 recognizes the epitopes containing these two amino acid residues. |
