Omim ID:TRPC4_RAT
Immunogen:A synthetic peptide as a part of rat Short transient receptor potential channel 4 (TRPC4) conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Specificity:Appears to be specific for TRPC4.
Cross Reactivity:Rat. Other species not yet tested.
Packaging:0.5 mg IgG purified Rabbit antisera.
Uses:IHC, WB. A concentration of 1-5 µg/ml is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Background:FUNCTION: Thought to form non-selective a receptor-activated calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. Has also been shown to be calcium-selective. May also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.; SUBUNIT: Isoform alpha but not isoform beta associates with inositol-1,4,5-triphosphate receptor (ITPR). Interacts with NHERF.; PROBABLE SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Storage:Store at 4C for short-term. Aliquot and store at -20C for long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity:IgG purified
Isotype:IgG
Host Name:Rabbit
Buffer:Lyophilised in PBS
Application Summary:immunohistochemistry, Western Blot 1-5 µg/ml
Species Summary:Rt
Alternate Names:anti-Short transient receptor potential channel 4 antibody, anti-Trp4 antibody, anti-Capacitative calcium entry channel 1 antibody, anti-CCE1 antibody
Package Size:0.5 mg
Preservative:No Preservative
Notes Main:Reconstitute in 500 ul of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term.
