| ListPrice: | 100 |
| Gene ID: | 322 |
| Immunogen: | Recombinant rat protein expressed in bacteria. |
| Cross Reactivity: | This antibody reacts with the rat, human, and mouse proteins. |
| Packaging: | 0.025 ml Affinity purified Rabbit antisera. |
| Uses: | This antibody is useful in Western Blot and immunoprecipitation. For western blot, a band is seen at ~100 kDa ((calculated MW of 77.2kDa according to NP_001155.1 and 77.0kDa according to NP_663722.1). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature (Zambrano et al, J Biol Chem. 1998 Aug 7;273(32):20128-33.; PMID: 9685356).) |
| Background: | FE65 is a signling adaptor of APP protein. The FE65/APP complex was shown to translocate into the cell nucleus and regulate gene expression. Genetic studies in mice validated FE65-APP interaction and molecular studies provided evidence on the role of the complex in abnormal signaling dtected in brains of Alzheimer Disease patients. |
