This gene have 3 splice form, and group a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily. GPBRA1 was bile acids receptor in the cell membrane, which regulated the signal pathway of the production of intracellular cAMP, activation of a MAP kinase, and internalization of the receptor. In addition, this receptor could suppression the functions of macrophage and regulation of energy homeostasis. |
