| Background: | | TCP-1 beta (Chaperonin containing T complex polypeptide 1, subunit 2) belongs to the TCP-1 chaperonin family, predicted molecular weight 57 kD. Chaperonin-containing TCP-1 is a large multisubunit complex of 800-900 kDa, a protein complex considered to be the cytosolic homologue of mitochondrial HSP60. TCP-1 beta has been shown to interact with beta-actin, 14-3-3 g , SUMO4, TCP-1 alpha, beta-Tubulin, alpha-Tubulin and CCT8. nbspIn vitro, TCP-1 beta mediates the ATP-dependent folding of tubulin, actin, and alpha-transducin. nbspThis protein is also essential for cyclin E maturation and accumulation. nbsp Clone F39P7F11has been shown to be useful for western blotting and immunohistochemistry of human, mouse, rat and Frog TCP-1 beta.? |
