| Background: | NTAL is a transmembrane adaptor protein with an apparent molecular weight of 30 kD expressed on B cells, NK cells, and myeloid cells. The NTAL is a transmembrane adaptor protein found in lipid raft microdomains that participates in B cell activation. NTAL interacts with a variety of proteins including Grb2, PLC gamma 2, and PLC gamma 1. The NAP-07 monoclonal antibody reacts with human and mouse NTAL and has been shown to be useful for Western blotting. |
