| Uses: | Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. Western blotting, suggested working dilution(s): Use 10 mul per 5 ml antibody dilution buffer for each mini-gel. For immunofluorescence microscopy: Use a dilution range of 1:100~1:400. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
| Background: | HDAC3 is a 50 kD class I histone deacetylase similar to yeast RPD3 protein. This nuclear protein operates in concert with histone acetyltransferases to control core histone acetylation in highly conserved lysine residues. HDAC activity has been associated with transcriptional repression and nucleosomal condensation. HDAC3 is modified by phosphorylation and sumoylation. HDAC3 has been reported to interact with HDAC4, SMRT and N-CoR co-repressors, GATA-2 and TF-II-I. The Poly6076 antibody has been shown to be useful for Western blotting and immunofluorescence detection of human HDAC3. |
