| Clone: | JES6-5H4 |
| Clonality: | Monoclonal |
| ListPrice: | 295 |
| Immunogen: | E. coli-expressed, recombinant mouse IL-2 |
| Cross Reactivity: | Mouse. |
| Packaging: | 0.5 mg Immunogen affinity purified Rat antisera |
| Uses: | The purified JES6-5H4 has been tested by blocking fluorochrome conjugated JES6-5H4 for intracellular cytokine staining. Immunohistochemistry-frozen/paraffin. In order to obtain complete blocking results, a saturated amount of purified antibody ( le 5.0 ug/million cells) should be used for incubation with target cells, prior to staining with fluorochrome conjugated antibody. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
| Background: | IL-2 is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which exerts its biological activity primarily on T cells. Additionally, IL-2 has been found to stimulate growth and differentiation of B cells, NK cells, LAK cells, monocytes, and oligodendrocytes. The JES6-5H4 antibody reacts with mouse interleukin-2 (IL-2). This is a neutralizing antibody. |
