| CatalogCode: | NB100-741 |
| ProductName: | IL28 Receptor alpha Antibody |
| Product Description: | Goat Polyclonal anti-IL28 Receptor alpha |
| Clonality: | Polyclonal |
| Immunogen: | Synthetic peptide: LPGLGSPPNVTYFVTYQSYIKTGWRPVEH, corresponding to N terminal amino acids 44-72 of Mouse IL28 Receptor alpha. |
| Specificity: | This antibody recognizes the N-terminus of mouse CRF-2-12 (IL-28 receptor alpha) protein. This antibody is likely to recognize rat CRF-2-12 (IL-28 receptor alpha) protein due to sequence similiarity. The peptide sequence is < 50 % identical to other sequences in GenBank. |
| CrossReactivity: | Cross-reacts with Mouse and Rat. Not yet tested in other species. |
| Packaging: | 0.1 mg protein G purified Goat antisera. |
| Uses: | Enzyme-linked immunoshift assay: >1/100000. Immunocytochemistry: 1/300. Not tested in other applications.Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. |
| Localization: | Type I membrane protein |
| Control: | Mouse spleen. |
| Background: | IL28RA is a class II cytokine receptor that interacts with IL10RB to bind IL28A, IL28B, and IL29, which are related to type I interferons. These ligands play a critical role in response to microbial challenge and activate the JAK/STAT signaling system. It heterodimers with IL10RB. There are 4 isoforms as result of alternative splicing. It is widely expressed. IL28RA belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family, and contains 1 fibronectin type III domain. |
