| Specificity: | NB100-63250 recognises human VAV2, a 100 kDa member of the VAV oncogene family. VAV2 is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for the Rho family of Ras-related GTPases and is expressed in most tissues. SH3 domain-binding protein 2 cooperates with VAV2 to regulate B cell receptor-mediated activation of nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFATs). Vav2 may also act as a downstream effector of the proto oncogene Src, regulating Rac1-dependent pathways involved in Src-induced cell transformation. |
