Immunogen:Human TAFI
Specificity:NB100-62135 detects Thrombin Activatable Fibrinolysis Inhibitor (TAFI), a basic carboxypeptidase zymogen which is formed in the liver and circulates in the blood. TAFI is activated during blood clotting by the thrombin-thrombomodulin complex, forming TAFIa. TAFIa cleaves carboxy-terminal lysine residues from partially degraded fibrin to attenuate fibrinolysis.TAFI may also function in the regulation of inflammation, wound healing and blood pressure.
