| Background: | Lymphocyte-activation protein 3 belongs to Ig superfamily and contains 4 extracellular Ig-like domains. The LAG3 gene contains 8 exons. The sequence data, exon/intron organization, and chromosomal localization all indicate a close relationship of LAG3 to CD4. **Please note, this product is one of a range of Investigative Grade antibodies, made against targets that have limited or no commercial antibodies available to them and for which there are no data on the expression of the protein in the range of common cell lines and tissues available to us. These antibodies are affinity purified using their peptide immunogen and are known to give low background staining in a western blot. However no additional claims are made for their ability to recognise native protein in any application. |
