| CatalogCode: | | NB100-41102 |
| ProductName: | | IER2 Antibody |
| Product Description: | | Goat Polyclonal anti-IER2 |
| Clonality: | | Polyclonal |
| Immunogen: | | Synthetic peptide, PAKVSRKRRS, representing the internal region of the human protein according to NP_004898.2 |
| CrossReactivity: | | Expected based upon sequence homology: Human, Mouse, Rat |
| Packaging: | | 0.1 mg Immunogen affinity purified Goat antisera. |
| Uses: | | Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:2,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 48kDa band in Human Bone Marrow, Liver, Spleen and Thymus lysates after 0.3µg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 24.2kDa according to NP_Spleen. The 48kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported? |
| Background: | | Gene ID: 9592 **Please note, this product is one of a range of Investigative Grade antibodies, made against targets that have limited or no commercial antibodies available to them and for which there are no data on the expression of the protein in the range of common cell lines and tissues available to us. These antibodies are affinity purified using their peptide immunogen and are known to give low background staining in a western blot. However no additional claims are made for their ability to recognise native protein in any application. |
