| Product Description: | Goat Polyclonal anti-HRS |
| Clonality: | Polyclonal |
| Immunogen: | Synthetic peptide: C-NRNYWEKKQEEARK, representing the internal region of the human protein according to NP_004703.1 |
| CrossReactivity: | Tested: Human Expected from sequence similarity: Mouse, Rat, Dog |
| Packaging: | 0.1 mg Immunogen affinity purified Goat antisera. |
| Uses: | Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx 140kDa and 26kDa in Human lysates of monocytic leukemia cell line U937 after 0.3ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 86.2kDa according to NP_004703.1. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands). We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Testis shows strong staining of Leydig cells. Recommended concentration, 1-2ug/ml. |
