CatalogCode: NB100-2198
ProductName: CD102 Antibody
Product Description: Rat Monoclonal anti-CD102 (mlC2/4 (3C4)), conjugated to PE
Clone: mlC2/4 (3C4)
Clonality: Monoclonal
Immunogen: COS cells transfected with murine ICAM-2
Specificity: This antiobdy recognizes murine intercellular adhesion molecule-2 (ICAM-2) aslo know as CD102. Clone mIC2/4 is reported to inhibit interactions between CD102 and LFA-1(1). Serotec recommend the use of MCA2295EL for this purpose.
CrossReactivity: Cross-reacts with Mouse. Not tested in any other application.
Packaging: 0.1 mg Rat ascites.
Uses: FACS: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106cells in 100ul. Not tested in any other applications. Optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Localization: Type I membrane protein
Background: Murine CD102 is a glycosylated cell surface protein that is broadly expressed on most leucocytes and is constitutively expressed on endothelial cells. CD102 interacts with the CD11a/CD18 integrin LFA-1. Reports suggest that CD102 may play a role in lymphocyte re-circulation and T-cell activation.
Storage: Store at 4C.  Do not freeze.
