Product Name:DNA polymerase Iota Antibody
Product Description:Rabbit Polyclonal anti-DNA polymerase Iota
Clonality:Polyclonal
ListPrice:285
Immunogen:A 15-mer peptide in the C-terminal region of human DNA Polymerase Iota, conjugated to KLH.
Specificity:This antibody is specific for human DNA Polymerase Iota.
Cross Reactivity:Human. Others not tested.
Packaging:0.05 ml Whole Rabbit antisera.
Uses:This antibody can be used in Western blot where a band is seen at ~80 kDa representing DNA Polymerase iota.
Localization:Nuclear
Background:DNA polymerase Iota (pol iota, also known as Rad30B) is a novel human polymerase, unlike any others known. It is an extremely low-fidelity enzyme that is highly error-prone when replicating undamaged and damaged DNA in vitro. To date there is, however, no human disease that can be attributed to overexpression or defects in poli.
Storage:Aliquot and store at -20C or -80C.  Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity:Whole antisera
Host Name:Rabbit
Buffer:PBS
Application Summary:Western Blot 1:1000
Species Summary:Hu
Alternate Names:anti-hRAD30B antibody; anti-RAD30B antibody
Package Size:0.05 ml
Preservative:0.02% sodium azide
